Where General Medicine is taught in Czechia
General Medicine is a six-year master’s program. After graduation, students receive a medical degree and then continue into specialization within the postgraduate medical education system. For an international applicant, this is the broadest but also the most competitive route: almost everywhere, biology, chemistry, physics, and confident academic Czech are required.

- Charles University: 1st Faculty of Medicine, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, 3rd Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine in Plzeň, Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové.
- Masaryk University in Brno: Faculty of Medicine MU.
- Palacký University Olomouc: Faculty of Medicine UP.
- University of Ostrava: Faculty of Medicine OU.
What is important for admission
Formally, the program title is the same, but the entrance exams differ. In Prague, Plzeň, Hradec Králové, Brno, Olomouc, and Ostrava, the number of questions, test logic, presence of an oral section, document requirements, and minimum passing thresholds all differ. That is why you cannot approach it as "one test for all faculties": you need to choose your priority faculties in advance and prepare for their format.
