Seven years of preparing for medicine only
NaMED was started by students of the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University who went through admission as international applicants themselves. We do not also prepare people for economics, law and engineering. Medicine only, for the seventh year running.
It shows in the numbers we keep on the front page rather than hide.

A narrow focus solves one specific thing. We do not know "how to get into a Czech university", we know how the test at 1. LF UK differs from the one in Plzeň, where there is an oral round and where a wrong answer costs points.
Czech is not a barrier, it is a saving
Studying medicine in Czech at a public university is free, for international students on the same terms as for Czech ones. The same degree in English is paid: 24,250 EUR per year at 1. LF UK, CZK 380,000 in Brno, 12,000 EUR in Ostrava.
Six years of the English-taught programme at 1. LF UK cost around 145,000 EUR. The NaMED annual course costs 1,850 EUR, which is less than a single month of paid study. After that the student pays no tuition for six years.
So we do not talk anyone into learning Czech. We show what it costs the other way round.
What the system is made of
Getting into medicine is not one exam but five parallel tasks. Run them one after another and they collide into a single week in spring.

Exam formats differ between the eight faculties more than people expect. The number of questions varies two and a half times over, and that is the first thing that changes a study plan.
The people teaching have done it themselves
NaMED lecturers are senior medical students and doctors. Not school biology tutors, but people who sat the same entrance test and now study or work in the field.
The difference is practical. A lecturer knows which topics a given faculty asks about every year, which phrasing in a question trips up an international applicant, and what to do when forty seconds are left for an answer.
Online Academy: volume instead of promises
A weekly lesson explains the topic. The test result comes from the number of questions solved between lessons, which is why the platform is a separate block in the programme.
Online Academy holds more than 8,100 exam-style questions with explanations and over 200 video lessons in biology, chemistry and physics. It is not a bonus to the course but the tool that lets a parent see the student's progress too.
The results can be watched, not just believed
The site carries interviews with graduates from 2020 to 2026. Not written testimonials, but filmed conversations with a name, a faculty and a year of admission.

Prices are known in advance and do not grow during the year. Only the faculties' administrative fees for the online application and document translations stay separate.
What the degree gives you at the end
A medical degree from Czechia is recognised automatically across the European Union under Directive 2005/36/EC, without retaking professional exams. According to the Czech Statistical Office, the average monthly salary of a doctor in Czechia in 2024 was CZK 124,775, including bonuses and allowances.
Six years of free study in Czech therefore end with a degree that opens the labour market of the whole EU.

Which course should I start with if the exam is a year away?
The annual course, or annual MAX if you want extra online lessons and regular progress checks. If there is no Czech at all yet, look at the turnkey formats, where language and subjects run together.
And if only six months are left?
The six-month course starting in January. It is built around priority topics and timed tests rather than covering the programme from scratch. A month before the exam there is the 299 EUR intensive.
Can I study online from my own country?
